Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2012

The first Vietnam Heritage
Photo Awards, organized by Vietnam
Heritage Magazine with the
support of the Cultural Heritage
Association of Vietnam and in
cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Heritage Association, was launched in June 2012 as an effort to celebrate Vietnam Cultural
Heritage Day, 23 November.

198 photographers participated in the
contest, submitting 2890 works,
including 1506 single photos and 152 series.The photos cover a wide range of topics, including nature and culture, custom, traditions, art,
architecture, daily life, people, history,
traditional craft and festivals.

Over 100 photos were chosen to be
displayed in Ho Chi Minh City, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Halong, Hanoi and Can Tho from late October to late November 2012. Winners were
announced on 22 November, 2012 at Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
