To be presented on the Vietage train on 6th March 2021

Innovative culinary duo, Chef Hoang Tung from T.U.N.G Dining in Hanoi and Chef Geert-Jan Vaartjes from Anantara Hoi An Resort are teaming up aboard The Vietage to create an exclusive six-course gourmet food and wine pairingexperience.

Both passionate chefs have international experience in Michelin star restaurants and are bringing their pioneeringideas and expertise to design a memorable culinary event, along with a little hint of 3D food theatre.

The chefs will be crafting six courses of epicurean heaven, including Australian Blackmore 100% Wagyu and local Da Lat caviar, which will be expertly-paired with a selection ofGrand Crus from Bordeaux. A Taittinger Champagne and amuse bouche combination will act as a prelude to the main performance, while live music will provide additional entertainment during the day. 

The menu will contain surprise touches of 3D printing, cleverly-devised by the chefs’ use of the first two 3D food printers in Vietnam and inspired by each dish to complement the design and flavour. 

Limited to 12 places only, The Vietage will depart from Da Nang station at 09:31 on Saturday 6th March 2021 and the day’s experience will take gastronomes to a new level of dining enjoyment before arriving in Quy Nhon in the afternoon. The Vietage is the first railway carriage of its kind in Vietnam and is pioneering new luxury experiences for guests.
